About Jaclyn

A lifelong Georgian, Jaclyn Ford has lived our conservative farm values, and will be a dedicated voice for south central Georgia in Atlanta.

Before earning a degree in Agriculture from the University of Georgia, Jaclyn attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where she served on the Board of Trustees. In 2023, she was named Chair of the ABAC Foundation, helping ensure Georgia remains a national leader in agriculture and inspiring the next generation of Georgia farmers.

Governor Brian Kemp appointed Jaclyn to serve on the Georgia Economic Development Board in 2019 after seven years on the Georgia Farm Service Agency Committee. Her leadership and expertise in agriculture is unmatched - Jaclyn also serves on the Georgia Agribusiness Council Board, The Georgia Farm Bureau Commodities Committee for Cotton, and is a former delegate to the National Cotton Council. Ford is also the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Dixon Gin Co.

Jaclyn remains involved in her family farm, growing peanuts, pecans, cotton, corn, and cattle in Berrien County. She and her husband, Jake, live in Alapaha, where they've raised their two children. Her son is a senior at UGA, and her daughter is a junior in high school. She also works in the children's ministry at her church and sings in the community's annual Passion Play.
